Just the Way You Are - Eren x Reader

"You ready to go down, Mrs. Jeager?"

"Ready when you are, Horse-Face!"

You and Jean were arm-wrestling. He held your hand tight. You did the same. Eren was glaring daggers at him the whole time.


All the guys were cheering for Jean, and all the girls were cheering for you.

In almost 2 minutes, you hit Jean's forearm on the table with a thud. All the girls were cheering and high-fiving. Even a few boys were cheering for you.

Jean grunted and stormed out of the mess hall while you were just laughing. Suddenly, you were being pulled out of the mess hall.

"H-hey! Who is this?" You yelled.

"(Name), calm down, it's only me." Eren said as he loosened his grip on you.

"Eren, what the hell? You scared me." You said.

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let anyone take you without a fight." Eren said.

"What's that supposed to mean? If you fight then you'll give me up?" You fake pouted. Eren only laughed.

"You're just too cute, you know that?" Eren said, kissing your cheek.

"That's all I get?" You asked innocently.

"No more until later." Eren said.

"Hmph. Where are we going, anyway?" You said.

"Here." Eren opened the door to what looked liked an old music room.

"What's this?" You asked.

"It's an old music room the HQ used to use. Now they only use the instruments, and not the room." He said. you only nodded.

"Is that a jukebox?" You asked.

"Yep. Press the play button there." Eren said, pointing to it. (I don't know how jukeboxes work so just bare with me here)

you slowly pressed the play button as music started playing. You immediately smiled. But what you didn't notice was a voice singing behind you.

You immediately blushed at his singing voice. You never heard him sing before, and you knew you loved it. He only smiled and kept going.

                     But every time she asks me, "Do I look okay?"

He gave you the microphone. "Oooooh no." You said, waving your hands defensively. "Oh come on, you can do it." Eren said. You huffed and took the microphone.

Eren blushed at your voice. He never heard you sing before. He knew he loved your voice, too. you only smiled.

You both kept singing the song.

Just as the song finished, Eren kissed you sweetly. "I love you." He said. "I  love you, too." You said, and hugged him. He hugged you back. Suddenly, you heard clapping and cheering behind you.

You both shot your heads over to see the entire HQ smiling. You both immediately broke away from each other while everyone was laughing.

"G-guys!" you said.

"H-how did you g-get in h-here?!" Eren said. Both of you a flustered mess.

"Well, we heard the music and followed it only to see you two doing a little performance together. We couldn't miss the show!" Hanji said, pushing up her glasses.

Both of you blushed madly and stared at each other giving looks that only you two could understand.

You nodded.

He nodded.

And you both made a run for it, laughing as you heard everyone else chasing after you two.

you both were sitting under a tree, looking at the night sky. Your head was on Eren's shoulder as his arm was wrapped around you.

"Eren?"

"Hm?" He hummed.

"Did you mean what you sang in the song?" You asked.

He kissed your forehead.

"Every word."
